Speaking to journalist at the MSME clinic Mr. Arthur Anthony Okeyika(FCON) said, the solar tricycle was assembled in Nigeria and runs independent of fuel and does not rely on engine oil for lubrication this tricycle has capacity to travel at 170km per charge.
He is thankful to the Federal Government for congregating MDAs that can provide quick access to loans at the MSME Clinic in Anambra.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo stated this during the closing ceremony of the National MSME Clinic in Onitsha.
The two-day event organized by the Office of the Vice President in conjunction with Anambra State Government, aims at creating the platform for MSMEs in the State to present the successes and challenges before the government and other stakeholders whose responsibility is to re-shape their operations for the better.
The Vice President who was accompanied by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige and his Industry, Trade and Investments Counterpart, Mr Okey Enelama, was received by Governor Willie Obiano on arrival at the Chuba Ikpeazu mini stadium, Onitsha.
Speaking during the ceremony, Vice President Osinbajo said Anambra State is well recognized as a leading manufacturing hub and home of commerce in the country, adding that the idea of the clinic is a demonstration of the Federal Government’s resolve to address the challenges facing the critical subsector.
He noted that since its launch last year, the clinic has contributed immensely towards addressing the bottlenecks mitigating easy access to micro-credit by MSMEs as well as reducing the rigours of establishing businesses in the country.
